Boudoir Photo Shoot Overview
This boudoir photo shoot overview will give you an idea of what you can expect when you book your session with me. My process has been honed after thousands of hours experience photographing hundreds of women to help you avoid common pitfalls, and give you ideas to enhance your photos.
Every session with me includes four main events:
Planning: We'll discuss the details of your intended session and cover all the information in my boudoir guide.
Booking: After your planning session, you can submit your deposit to reserve your photo shoot date with me.
Photo Shoot: This all-day experience includes a makeover by my hair and makeup artist and posing guidance from me, aimed at creating photos similar to those in my portfolio.
Image Reveal: Roughly 2-3 weeks after your photo shoot, I'll present the standout images from our session, along with your album design. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite images for purchase and make any final tweaks to your album design.
Planning your Boudoir Photo Shoot

Every session with me starts with an style consultation so we can plan out your intended session together. This is done via a video call and will help set you up for success so you get the best photos possible from your session.
At this consultation we will discuss which images from my portfolio resonated with you most, and find out what you like stylistically so we can plan the specifics your boudoir photo shoot accordingly.
Planning your photo shoot is the most important step for getting boudoir photos like I show in my portfolio. At your consultation I will help you decide which personal care appointments to book and when to schedule them leading up to your session. Additionally, I’ll also help you with boudoir outfit ideas for your specific body type as well as location possibilities for your photo shoot.
This consultation is also a great time to figure out how you’ll want your final artwork presented. I will go over all of the options with you at your consultation to help you find the ones you like most. This is important because knowing how you’ll want your final artwork presented will help me craft your photos with intention.
Due to the planning involved, I’ve found it’s best to allow for at least 2 weeks between your consult date and photo shoot. With a proper plan, I will be able to help guide you towards the best photos you’ve ever seen of yourself.
Booking Your Boudoir Session
You’re ready for the full photo shoot experience. That’s fantastic! All you have to do now is schedule a day for your photo shoot along with a $500.00 deposit.
This deposit is non-refundable and reserves your session date. It also secures your hair and makeup artist for your makeover and covers the cost of your photo session. Images from your session are purchased separately at your reveal appointment.

On the day of the photo shoot you will finally get to experience your very own boudoir session! Bring your outfits that you’ve picked and your favorite Champaign and let me take care of the rest!

Your features will be enhanced by my makeup artist and you will be coached by me every step of the way. In short, if you like the results I show in my before & after gallery, you’ll love the images I’ll create for you!
Remember that a photo shoot with me is an all day event typically beginning at 10am and ending at 6pm. Keep this time frame in mind and make sure to keep me informed with any dinner plans so I know what time I need to be finished.

Image Reveal
After your photo shoot, I'll carefully select the best images from your session and meticulously edit each one. I invest a lot of time in this process, ensuring every photo is edited with precision and a subtle touch.
About 2-3 weeks post-session, expect a message from me. I'll inform you when your images are ready and we'll schedule your reveal appointment.
During the reveal, you'll see all your boudoir photos for the first time. This will be your chance to choose your favorite photos for purchase. In most cases you can expect this appointment to take about an hour or less if you love everything as I present it.
That said, you are in full control over what your final collection / album design will look like and I will stay as long as it takes to get it right for you.
For those who want to make lots of changes, this reveal can take longer than an hour (the record is currently 3 hrs), so plan accordingly if this sounds like you!
Additional Reveal Appointment Fees
Every session includes ONE reveal session as part of your booking fee. This means we will need to finalize your collection in person at this appointment to avoid additional fees.
Changes or decisions that need to be made after this appointment (via email, over the phone or in person) will incur an additional $200/hr (one hr minimum) reveal fee.
In short, to avoid additional fees, just make sure all decision makers are present at your reveal and be prepared to make final design decisions at this appointment.
